About Dr. Lewey
Dr. Scot Lewey is a board-certified gastroenterologist and advanced therapeutic endoscopist with over thirty years of clinical experience. A graduate of Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCU-COM), he completed a combined Internal Medicine–Pediatrics residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, a Gastroenterology fellowship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, and a year of Advanced Endoscopy/EUS training at AdventHealth Porter Hospital. Dr. Lewey has performed thousands of endoscopic procedures including ERCPs and EUS, EMR, and ESD. A U.S. Army veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Medical Badge, Dr. Lewey served as a Medical Corps Commander during the Gulf War. He has held numerous leadership roles and faculty appointments at medical schools and fellowship programs and currently serves on the Editorial Board and CME team for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE).

Dr. Scot Lewey is a board-certified gastroenterologist and advanced therapeutic endoscopist with over thirty years of clinical experience. Dr. Lewey has performed over 5,000 ERCPs and 2,000 EUS procedures, including EMR and ESD. A U.S. Army veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Medical Badge, Dr. Lewey served as a Medical Corps Commander during the Gulf War.
